Scrapbook of John Hayward, mayor of Ithaca Town Council - 1912 -1921

This is an extract of a bound scrapbook kept by John Hayward was an alderman for the Ithaca Town Council from 1912 to 1921 and Mayor in 1919. The book includes personal documents as well as articles and documents relating to the development of the Ithaca Town Council area. This is one of the few personal papers of a Brisbane mayor we have in our possession. Notably it contains a diary relating to the tragic death of his son.
